Connecting the Dots
Whenever we welcome the stranger, offer food or drink to those in need... whenever we comfort the oppressed or challenge the oppressors, we are engaged in mission. In National Capital Presbytery we participate in mission as individual congregations, but also as a network of connected congregations, believing that together we DO make a difference.
"...cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow" (Isaiah 1:17, NRSV)
