Sponsoring the event are Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church and The Reparations Now Study Group of Washington DC lead by Anthony Q. Morse II. Phyllis Tucker-Saunders, a graduate student at Wesley Theological Seminary and a Field Education Apprentice at Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church, is serving as the moderator. Morse II and Tucker-Saunders are teaming with reparations specialist such as Dr. Raymond Winbush, Research Professor and Director of Institute for Urban Research at Morgan State University and Dr. Lawrence Grandpre of Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle and Dr. Karsonya Wise Whitehead of #blackmommyactivist and an associate professor of Communication and African and African American Studies in the Department of Communication at Loyola University Maryland.
